ThisĀ 3-hour introductory sessionĀ is perfect for curious beginners and aspiring potters alike. With the guidance of our instructor, you’ll learn theĀ core techniques of pottery on the wheel:Ā from wedging and centering your clay to shaping your own functional pieces.

Learn the essentials of wheel throwing: how to center clay, form walls, and shape your piece.

Enough to create 2ā3 small pieces, depending on your style and pace.

Choose your favorite works to be bisque & glaze fired (to make the products food safe)

Pottery Class Terms & ConditionsĀ
Weāre so excited to have you at Lemon Lab! To make sure everyone has a smooth and enjoyable experience, please take a moment to read through our class guidelines:
Age & Studio Access – Our pottery classes are designed for ages 12 and above.
To keep the studio comfortable, and focused for everyone, only registered students and studio members are permitted inside the studio during class and practice sessions.
Final Piece, Firing, Breakage, Broken pieces
Ceramics can be quite unpredictable mostĀ especially for beginners!Ā This means that once in a while, a piece might crack, warp, or not survive the firing process. If this happens, weāll let you know, but please note that we do not offer refunds for pieces that donāt make it. Remember: you’re not paying for a guaranteed final piece ā you’re paying for the experience, the joy of making, and the skills youāll build during the workshop.
Be on time
Classes start right on schedule. We encourage you to come in early so you get settled and have a breather. Please note we only allow a 10-minute grace period. Late students will be no longer be allowed to join in once the class has started to avoid disruption to the rest of the class.
ReschedulingĀ
Things happen ā we get it! You canĀ reschedule once for freeĀ as long as you let us knowĀ at least 2 days beforeĀ your class.Ā If itās past 2 days before your booking, thereās aĀ ā±450/pax rescheduling fee, since your slot has already been reserved and set aside for you.
Each booking may be rescheduled once, provided the new class is scheduled within 1 month of the original workshop date. This helps us keep our class schedules fair and available for everyone.
After this period, the booking will be considered used and forfeited.
Running late?
Please send us a quick message if youāre on your way but running behind. Weāll try our best to offer options or move your schedule (depending on availability and rescheduling rules).
No-shows and cancellations
We donāt issue refunds for no-show, late cancellations, so please make sure youāre good to go before confirming your slot.
