About us

It all started with a simple problem.

I wanted to make our own plates.

What started as a hobby operating from a small corner of our kitchen, we searched for pottery classes around Manila, hoping to learn how to make handmade ceramics for our own creative projects. Instead, we found ourselves wishing for a space that felt less intimidating, more welcoming, and built around curiosity rather than perfection.

What began as a side project—just making pottery for ourselves—slowly grew into something much bigger.

Somewhere between our first wobbly mugs, countless kiln firings, glazing experiments, and the joy of watching complete beginners fall in love with clay, Lemon Lab quietly became the side quest that turned into the main quest.

Today, Lemon Lab is a community pottery studio tucked inside the historic First United Building in the heart of Escolta.

More than a place to make pottery, we’ve built a space where people can slow down, unplug from their screens, and reconnect with making something with their own hands. Whether you’re trying the pottery wheel for the first time, celebrating a birthday, planning a team-building activity, or looking for a creative hobby you’ll keep coming back to, everyone is welcome here.

We believe pottery doesn’t have to be intimidating.

You don’t need to be artistic.
You don’t need experience.
You don’t need to make something perfect.

You just need to be willing to get your hands dirty.

As part of the Project Lemons family, Lemon Lab continues our mission of creating spaces where creativity is accessible, local artists are celebrated, and making things by hand becomes part of everyday life.

So whether you’re here for a one-time workshop or beginning a lifelong pottery journey, we’re glad you found us.

Welcome to Lemon Lab.

Let’s make something together.
