Glazing & Firing Add-On
Complete your handmade pottery with our professional Glazing & Firing service. Choose from our collection of beautiful studio glazes, and our in-house potters will carefully glaze and kiln-fire your piece to create a durable, food-safe finish (where applicable).
Every handmade piece dries at its own pace, so we take the time needed to ensure it is properly prepared before firing to help prevent cracks or damage.
Estimated Turnaround Time: 3 Months
- Drying: 30–45 days
- Bisque Firing, Glazing & Final Glaze Firing: 2–4 weeks
- Sorting & Packing: 1–2 weeks
Our fastest turnaround is approximately 10 weeks, but depending on our kiln schedule and production volume, completion may take 12 weeks/3 months.
Once your pottery has been fired, we’ll carefully inspect, sort, and pack your pieces before sending you an email notification when they’re ready for pickup or shipping.
Please Note
- We are unable to provide real-time status updates during the drying and firing process due to the large volume of pieces moving through our kilns each week.
- Pottery is a handmade craft, and every piece follows its own timeline. We appreciate your patience while our team ensures your work is fired safely and with the best possible results.

A little reminder: part of working with clay is embracing the surprises that can happen in the kiln. Though rare, Sometimes pieces don’t survive the firing process and some pieces may crack or break during firing despite our best efforts. In these cases, we’re unable to offer refunds, as the fee covers the class experience and use of materials rather than a guaranteed final piece.
In case this happens, we’ll reach out to you separately with photos of the end result. 🙂
